Old Path White Clouds

Here in a beautifully written, gently flowing presentation is the life and teachings of Gautama the Buddha over an eighty-year span. The story is seen partly through the eyes of Svasti, the buffalo boy who becomes a monk, and partly through the eyes of the Buddha himself. The author is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk, who has taught at Columbia University and the Sorbonne.
