Meister Eckhart was a German mystic and Dominican friar. His writings, which brought him excommunication from the church later in life, focus on finding the “little spark” of God in each human being.

Includes short sayings as well as excerpts from a number of sermons. If you've never read Eckhart, this book is a good introduction. Of particular interest is his treatise on detachment.
