This CD was recorded at the Vigeland Mausoleum in Oslo, Norway. The incredible acoustics of the towering chamber, where the artist has depicted scenes of birth and death in fresco, produce a sense of space and timelessness not of this world. All compositions original, except the incredibly haunting and magnificent “Fantasy on a Spanish Romance,” which is based on a traditional Spanish folk tune. All of the CD is very sweet, very gently and very sensitively done.
